Producing top quality products with high quality agave using traditional methods but in a modern industrial plant. Their tequilas are bottled in blown glass or ceramic bottles.
La Cofradia (NOM 1137) was the original distillery that produced the now much sought after Clase Azul Tequila.
La Corfradia Signature is made following the same processes for generations, using masonry ovens, steam cooking the agave for over 40 hours before being ground with a strudder.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Complex aromas of stone fruits, oak plum and cooked weber agave.
Palate: A delicate balance of cooked agave, spices and oak. The long ageing is present and rounds out this delicious drop.
